Career Worth helps professionals in the UK compare job offers on total reward, track applications and keep interview notes. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Account details — your email address and name when you create an account, and your sign-in method (email and password, or a social sign-in such as Google).
Your job search data — the information you choose to store with us, such as job applications, interviews, offers, recruiter contacts, offers you compare and any notes you write. This can include personal details about you and, where you enter them, details of other people such as recruiters.
Waitlist emails — if you join our waitlist, we keep the email address you give us so we can tell you when new features launch.
Technical data — basic service logs (such as error reports) that help us keep the service working.
To provide the service you signed up for — storing your applications, offers and comparisons, and showing them back to you. This is necessary for the contract between us.
To keep the service secure and working — for example protecting accounts, fixing errors and preventing abuse. This is based on our legitimate interests.
To email you — we only send emails connected to your use of the service, such as reminders you have asked for and important account notices. We do not send marketing emails without your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Your data is stored in a secure, access-controlled cloud database. We only share it with the service providers we need to run Career Worth (such as hosting, sign-in and email delivery). We never sell your personal data.
We keep your data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your job search data. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them. Basic logs may be kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, or ask us to move it to another service. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@careerworth.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and the service working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data is protected by encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
