These terms govern your use of Career Worth, a web service for tracking job applications and comparing job offers on total reward. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Career Worth provides tools to record job applications, log interviews, store offers and see how packages compare on total reward. The figures we calculate, including total reward and monthly equivalent values, are estimates based on the figures you enter and the valuation assumptions shown in the app. They are for guidance only and are not financial, tax, legal or career advice. You should take professional advice before making decisions about an offer.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for all activity under your account. The data you store, including notes and recruiter contact details, is yours to manage; please keep your own copy of anything important to you.
The Free plan costs nothing and lets you save up to 2 offers and track up to 10 applications. The Premium plan (£6.99 per month) lifts those limits. If you take out a Premium subscription, it is billed monthly in advance and continues until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and you will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect.
Please do not misuse the service: for example, do not try to access another user's data, resell the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
We aim to keep the service available and working well, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. If something goes wrong, we will work to put it right.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make about job offers, applications or negotiations based on the estimates the service provides. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
You keep ownership of the data you store in the service. We use it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that should survive ending (such as liability and ownership of content) continue to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you have a question about these terms, contact hello@careerworth.co.uk.
